Electrosurgery

Electrosurgery is a treatment modality employing radiofrequency alternating electrical current to induce dessication, fulguration and coagulation in treated tissues. The technology can be used to treat a range of benign and malignant skin conditions including cherry angiomas, actinic keratosis and superficial carcinomas.
