Cryotherapy

Cryotherapy is an established medical therapy employing the use of liquid nitrogen to treat a range of benign and malignant skin conditions including skin tags, actinic keratosis and some superficial carcinomas. Differing treatment protocols are available and the therapy is associated with a range of potential complications including scarring and hypopigmentation. At MSSC a cryosurgery gun with multiple spray apertures is employed to ensure accurate application of therapy.
